Luckily, we live in an online world where there are solutions available. Going online will eliminate the chore of making a booking, driving to your destination, waiting in the waiting room, filling out papers, etc. 

GoodX Software is proud to present the Talk to a Doctor feature. This feature will help patients and doctors alike. Save time and money as well as the paper admin that comes with a normal in-person doctor’s appointment. 

Patient’s will have a special patient’s portal, myGrandCentral (myGC), that will keep everything in one place where they can also access this new feature. Doctors on our GoodX Web app who are setup to allow call-ins will receive these call-ins from patients. 

With just a few clicks, you will be able to speak to a doctor without the hustle and bustle. Here we will show you how this new feature works.

Introduction to Talk to a Doctor

GoodX Software is proud to present a brand new feature that has been added to GoodX Web and myGCTalk to a Doctor. This feature will enable doctors and medical practices to receive call-ins from patients that do not have bookings.

How to Talk to a Doctor

Patients registered on myGC will be able to use the Talk to Doctor feature. Patients who are not registered on myGC can create an account by navigating to the myGC website, click here to do so.

Once the Patient is logged in, they can click on Talk to a Doctor on the left side of the screen.  If a patient is logged in on their phone, they can click on the menu button in the top-left corner and then click on Talk to a Doctor

On the Talk to a Doctor screen, you will see the number of Doctors Online as well as how many are currently taking calls.

To start, the Patient will fill in the information fields underneath the Details section of the screen which includes their name, location, the reason for the call, and the chosen payment method. Lastly, the patient also needs to tick the checkbox stating that they accept that the doctor may charge them for this call.  

After the information is completed, the Patient clicks on the Go button where the Waiting for Doctor to Answer Your Call screen will show. 

Once the first available Doctor accepts the call, the Welcome to Telemed screen will pop-up where the Patient can click on Continue to continue to the Telemed Call screen.

The Patient will click on the Start Call When Ready button to start the video consultation with the Doctor. To see more details about Telemed click here.

Once the consultation is finished, you can just end the call. After your Telemed consultation, chances are you will also receive a Payment Request via SMS or email from the Doctor. Click here to see more details about Payment Request Links.
