Work training programmes will be different and unique depending on the needs of the company. The primary goal of any work training programme is to educate, develop and improve the skills of potential employees (participants). During the difficult period of a global pandemic, the GoodX work training program intended to assist the community as well as its customers.

By providing training in our medical practice management and billing software, the candidates gained the necessary skills to enter a practice using GoodX Software with confidence. The practices that use our software will have access to our talent bank of successful work training candidates – saving precious time on training and boosting efficiency.

GoodX would like to encourage other companies to follow suit with similar projects to uplift and develop the skills of the community.

After reading this blog, you will have a better understanding of what the GoodX work training programme consisted of, the benefits thereof, and how your practice can take advantage of this opportunity.

GoodX’s Work Training Programme

The GoodX Work Training Project (WTP) was a programme that provided opportunities to people who had lost their jobs or who wanted to change careers but lacked experience. An initiative to move toward growth and development.

This training took place over a 12-week period and consisted of 2 phases.

  • Phase 1: The first week was an introduction to medical practice management and the GoodX software system, which included settings, billing, clinical notes, and other functions that aid in the operation of a medical practice. The second week focused on advanced functions that included stock management, accounting, and medical billing rules. Ending with a full in-person evaluation.
  • Phase 2 for successful phase 1 candidates: An intensive 10-week theoretical and practical training program that taught applicants the ins and outs of the GoodX Software.

Client Feedback

“From a business perspective, it saves time and money. From an owner’s perspective of a Buro I think it is great that there are companies that initiate programs to help people in need.”

Nicole from BizLife

“We are of the opinion that the Work Training Project is an excellent project to support young and upcoming staff members and create opportunities for staff development. The possibility of having a trained employee join the practice and develop and grow with the practice is positive, as staff training  usually takes up a considerable amount of time during the initial employment period.”
