What is Harmony?

Harmony is a web-based software solution that connects all examination instruments, regardless of manufacturer, in one secure platform. The software allows all ophthalmic images and reports to be visualised on a single system, being tightly linked with GoodX Software as the practice management system for easy access. Together, Harmony and GoodX support effective workflows and clinical care paths with the best possible patient care and customer experience outcomes.

Harmony’s workflow

Harmony’s integrated workflow enables patient information to flow seamlessly from GoodX Software to the device, through Harmony and back, reducing human errors and enhancing practice efficiency. Patient demographic data is automatically synchronised from GoodX Software, captured via patient imports directly from the medical aid or through the patient portal (www.mygc.co.za) to Harmony and then transferred to the devices. This process does not require data to be re-entered, allowing eye care professionals to save valuable time. After each examination, the images are automatically uploaded into the Harmony data management solution for review. Reports and structured interpretation data are then synchronised back to GoodX Software, where they can be viewed by the Practitioner. This function has been integrated with GoodX Web through a button.
